A Notary also called Notary Public is an office that does legal services for the public; the licensed notary is authorized to perform Notary Services by the Federal Government. To become a notary, you need to undergo different stages: – First degree diploma of Law or Sharia & Law is compulsory, then you enroll notary training at an authorized notary for minimum period of six months, go through application process, after that you are required to take an exam, once you pass, you apply the notary license from ministry of Justice, you’re sworn into office as a notary, you can as well become a notary by a presidential degree.
